Friday Night Harinaam

Lord Caitanya propagated chanting of the Holy Name as the most effective means of self-realization in today’s age. Harinaam Sankirtan, or congregational chanting of the Holy Name in public, is a continuation of His practice about 500 years ago in India, where he compassionately distributed the Holy Name to one and all, without reservation.

Following His footsteps, ISKCON temples all over the world regularly engage in outdoor Harinaam Sankirtan. Devotees engage in singing and dancing through the streets and onlookers join in spontaneously.

Join us every Friday at 6pm at Govinda’s Restaurant, Perth CBD for a blissful experience of connecting with the divine through the sound vibration of the maha mantra “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare”.
